Based in the Yarra Valley and inspired by the surrounding national park, Ballard Landscape Design is a small family business creating gardens that feel connected to place – natural, considered and made to be lived in. With 20 years’ horticulture experience and strong project management capability, we bring both creative design thinking and practical know-how to every project.
We take the time to understand how you want to use your outdoor space, then translate that into a cohesive plan – balancing layout, planting, materials and maintenance needs. Our focus is on gardens that are beautiful, functional and sustainable, with planting that thrives in local conditions and designs that stand the test of time.

We can manage contractor tendering, materials sourcing, scheduling, build completion and handover, giving you a clear process and confidence at every stage.
