The Mooroolbark Football Club, established in 1966 and originally known as the Falcons, competed in the Eastern Football Netball League (EFNL) while wearing dark green and gold striped guernseys, securing one senior premiership in its first 37 years. In 2003, the club rebranded to the “Mustangs,” changing its colors to a brighter green with gold slashes, and later introduced a black away strip in 2011 to address color clashes. In 2021, the club launched a unique guernsey for its new Senior Women’s team, featuring pink accents. In 2023, a modern version of the original guernsey was debuted, replacing the black away strip, and by 2024, all teams, except the veteran women’s team, transitioned back to the original design.
