The Yarra Glen Football Netball Club is a very successful family-orientated sporting club and a valued part of the local community. We play in the Division 1 Outer East FNL competition during the winter season between April and September each year.
Founded in 1888, the club’s wealth of history and achievements have cemented itself as a renowned feature within the community. Affectionately known as the ‘River Pigs’, finals appearances & triumphs have been the norm throughout the last decade.
In 2014, the club created and played the inaugural Pride Cup match, which celebrates diversity and inclusion in sport. This lead to the club winning the VicHealth Award for Promoting Health Through Sport. Our vision for inclusion inspired many Pride Cup events throughout Australia in numerous sports.
In 2025, we are excited to be expanding our playing group. Fielding four football teams, seniors, reserves, veterans and under 18’s, and four netball teams, we have over 100 player members.
