Easter Colouring Competition (Win a Nintendo Switch 2)
Promoter
The promoter is Our Ranges (the “Promoter”). Contact details and any enquiries about the competition can be directed via the Promoter’s website/contact page used for entry.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting an entry, the entrant and their parent/guardian agree to these Terms & Conditions and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy (together, the “Terms”).
2. Competition Period
- Opens: On publication of the competition page/materials.
- Closes: 7 April 2026 at 11:59 PM (AEST) (“Closing Date”).
- Entries received after the Closing Date will not be accepted.
- Winner announced: 17 April 2026 (AEST).
3. Eligibility
3.1 The competition is open to primary school–aged students who reside in:
- the Shire of Yarra Ranges, or
- the broader Dandenong Ranges, or
- the Yarra Valley.
3.2 Parental/guardian consent is required for all entrants. By entering, the parent/guardian confirms they:
- consent to the child’s participation, and
- agree to these Terms on behalf of the child.
3.3 Employees, contractors and immediate family members of the Promoter and any agencies directly associated with administering the competition may enter only if otherwise permitted by the Promoter; however, they are not eligible to win if prohibited by applicable law or if the Promoter deems it inappropriate due to a conflict of interest.
4. How to Enter
4.1 To enter, entrants must:
a) download the official Easter colouring sheet provided by the Promoter;
b) complete the colouring by hand using crayons, pencils, markers, paint or other hand-applied media (no digital/computer colouring);
c) submit an entry by uploading a clear photo of the completed colouring sheet via the official online entry form by the Closing Date; and
d) keep the original artwork, as the Promoter may request it for verification.
4.2 The Promoter may, at its discretion, request proof of age, school year level/grade, and residency, and may disqualify an entry that does not satisfy eligibility requirements.
5. Entry Limits
Unless otherwise stated on the entry form, one (1) entry per child. Multiple entries may be disqualified at the Promoter’s discretion.
6. Entry Requirements
6.1 Entries must be the entrant’s own original work and must not infringe any third-party rights (including copyright).
6.2 Entries must not contain content that is offensive, inappropriate, unlawful, defamatory, threatening, or otherwise unsuitable for a children’s competition (as determined by the Promoter).
6.3 The Promoter may reject or remove any entry that does not comply with these Terms.
7. Judging and Winner Selection
7.1 This is a game of skill, not chance.
7.2 All eligible entries will be judged by a panel selected by the Promoter based on:
- creativity,
- effort, and
- age/grade appropriateness.
7.3 The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
8. Prizes
8.1 Major Prize (1 winner): One (1) Nintendo Switch 2 (new).
8.2 Runner-up Prizes (4 runner-ups): Four (4) gift cards valued at $30 each.
8.3 Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash unless required by law.
8.4 If a stated prize (or any part of it) becomes unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value, subject to any legal requirements.
9. Notification and Prize Claim
9.1 The Promoter will attempt to contact the winner and runner-ups using the contact details provided in the entry form (via parent/guardian).
9.2 Winners must respond within 7 days of first contact (or another period specified by the Promoter). If a winner does not respond, cannot be contacted, or is deemed ineligible, the Promoter may award the prize to the next best eligible entry as determined by the judges.
9.3 The Promoter may require the original artwork to be provided for verification before prize delivery/collection.
10. Prize Delivery/Collection
10.1 Prizes will be delivered or made available for collection as arranged with the parent/guardian.
10.2 Any costs associated with collecting a prize (e.g., travel) are the responsibility of the winner, unless the Promoter states otherwise.
11. Use of Entries and Promotion
11.1 By entering, the parent/guardian grants the Promoter a royalty-free, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, publish, display and adapt the entry image (and the child’s first name, age/grade and general location e.g., suburb) for the purpose of:
- administering the competition, and
- promoting the competition and the Promoter (including on websites, social media, email and other promotional materials).
11.2 The Promoter will not publish a child’s full name, exact address, school name, phone number, email address or other sensitive identifying information without separate express consent from the parent/guardian.
12. Privacy
12.1 The Promoter will collect and use personal information for the purpose of conducting the competition (including contacting winners) and in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
12.2 By entering, the parent/guardian consents to the Promoter collecting, storing and using the information provided for competition administration and related communications.
12.3 Entrants may request access to or correction of their personal information in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
13. Disqualification
The Promoter may disqualify any entrant who:
- breaches these Terms;
- submits an entry that is incomplete, illegible, misleading, or not the official colouring sheet;
- tampers with the entry process or engages in fraudulent, misleading or deceptive conduct; or
- fails to provide requested verification (e.g., original artwork, eligibility confirmation).
14. Liability
14.1 Nothing in these Terms limits any rights a consumer has under applicable law that cannot be excluded.
14.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible for:
- late, lost, incomplete, corrupted or misdirected entries;
- technical issues with the website, form, internet connection, or devices;
- any loss or damage suffered in connection with the competition or prizes, except where caused by the Promoter’s negligence or as otherwise required by law.
14.3 The Nintendo Switch 2 and gift cards are subject to the manufacturer’s/issuer’s standard terms and warranties.
15. Changes, Suspension or Cancellation
If the competition is not capable of running as planned due to technical failure, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, or any other cause beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any legal requirements) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the competition.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and entrants submit to the jurisdiction of Victorian courts.
